Lake
Крваво језеро
Krvavo jezero (also known as Omladinsko jezero) is a small, shallow freshwater lake in Serbia, near Palić and Ludaš lakes. It's known for carp and Prussian carp (babuška) fishing, with reports of good catches, especially after June 1st when carp season opens. The lake is generally shallow, averaging about half a meter, and can shrink significantly during dry periods. The name "Krvavo jezero" (Bloody Lake) comes from the reddish color of the lakebed due to iron ore, or from red algae that multiply in summer.
